Objectives: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Seroquel XR in the treatment of patients with anxiety and depression. Methods: We conducted a single-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled, crossover study in adult patients with major depressive disorder (MDD) who met criteria for a primary diagnosis of MDD using the Hamilton-Norway Inventory for Anxiety, Depression and Anxiety (HAM-D). The primary endpoints included change from baseline in HAM-D scores over 12 months. Results: Seroquel XR significantly improved the reduction in HAM-D scores compared to placebo. The reduction was not statistically significant between groups, but was significantly greater in the Seroquel XR group. Conclusions: In clinical practice, Seroquel XR may be considered an option in the treatment of MDD in patients with a primary diagnosis of MDD, especially in patients with an anxiety disorder.

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is the most common mental illness worldwide, affecting a substantial proportion of the adult population. In the United States, there is a significant proportion of adults with ADHD (ADHD) being in the middle aged (MA) age group. The disorder is primarily caused by a deficiency of noradrenaline (NA), a neurotransmitter that is crucial for attention and attention-deficit hyperactivity.
